The very best end to this trip was to spend a week in Duck, North Carolina with Joe’s youngest sister, Karen, and her family. What better than to return to the sand and surf of the Atlantic Ocean: a tonic to our souls!

In addition to Karen, her husband Mike and our two terrific nephews Ben and Will, we were delighted that Joe’s brother, Chris, decided to join us. We last parted with Chris 2,450 miles away at Tucker Park in Hood River, Oregon. At that time, we were not sure when we’d see him again. Such a sweet reunion at the end of a long journey for us both!

After 10,000 miles and 20 states in 73 days, this concludes our Pacific Northwest blog. We so appreciate your following along with us!
Stay tuned for updates in our RV blog. We are going to our very first RV show and Pleasure-Way East Coast Owner’s club meetup next month. We will be looking at other rigs to see if we can improve our comfort as we plan to continue multi-month trips for the next few years. We have already have some nascent plans for an early spring tour through the southeast extending into the southwest…
Post Script: Joe’s “inner child” acting out.
