Our site will be somewhat quiet for the next couple of weeks as we begin the 2026 travel season on Wednesday. We’re heading south to Florida for a short time to both escape the cold weather and visit relatives we have not seen in many years.

Traveling is fun for Sue and I, but packing is not. And we have to pack more than just clothing. Most of our camping gear is removed from the RV when we return home in the fall so it all needs to return before we hit the road again. And the RV needs a spring cleaning, both inside and out! (A thorough annual cleaning of the interior of the RV is something we did not anticipate). So the week before a trip is a lot of work.

Both we and the birds have a spring in our step. We know that warm weather and fun times are just around the corner.
