Located halfway between Billings and Missoula is Wheat Montana Bakery and Deli. It was late morning and looked like a perfect spot for lunch, and it was. We stepped out of our RV to the aroma of bread baking. This was not just a deli but a large manufacturing plant producing rolls, sliced breads, buns, flour, wheat, cereal, and pancake and other mixes.

Next to the plant was the deli serving hot and cold sandwiches, soups and sweet bakery treats.

There were a wide variety of products for sale, including small and bulk-sized packages of flour. However, we were focused on the sweet treats and lunch!

Wheat Montana is located on 10778 US Hwy 287 in Three Forks, MT. It’s an ideal place to stop for lunch when traveling between Billings and Missoula. We purchased a turkey sandwich on wheat for lunch and two cinnamon rolls for the road.
